Why Cards for a Cause? First of all I have a special gift of cardmaking and I love to share my gift. But, back at the beginning of the summer there was an announcement in the church bulletin about Connections groups. God placed the entire idea for Cards for a Cause on my heart but I did not sign up because how could I possibly add another thing to my calendar? The deadline came and went and I thought that that was that. God had another plan...they extended the deadline and I knew that I had to be obedient. So, God makes the time and meets every need. For that I am thankful!What is Cards for A Cause? Cards for a Cause is a time for women to get together one night a month to make cards with rubber stamps that are in turn donated to a cause of the group's choice and have a great time of sweet fellowship at the same time. Currently we are stamping a series of cards that we will bundle together and distribute to missionaries. Other potential ideas are military members, Ronald McDonald House, Pastoral staff... the decision is ultimately up to the group. I pray that every women that comes is encouraged in a very special way. All cards are designed by me and precut and ready to stamp and assemble. Each card is hand signed by a group member (see the photo below).
When? Cards for a Cause meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. You can come one time or as many times as you wish.

Oh, how could I forget...munchies served at each meeting!
